We will continue to keep you informed about its progression and provide the planning reference number as soon as the City assigns and when the application documents are released for public view.

Welcome to our dedicated consultation website for the new proposals for the redevelopment of 1 Undershaft, currently the site of St. Helen’s building (also known as the Aviva Tower) in the centre of London’s financial district.


Key Update – January 2024

We are pleased to confirm that our planning application has now been officially submitted to  the City of London Corporation. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the public consultation on the proposals. The application can be seen on the City of London’s website here, or by using the application ref 23/01423/FULEIA on the City’s planning portal. We are pleased to present the revised design for 1 Undershaft. Ahead of submitting a planning application to the City of London Corporation, we have taken on-board your comments, made some key changes to the design of our proposals and have worked hard to ensure the proposals deliver on the opportunity provided by this important City location.

To give you a further opportunity to view the proposals and speak to the project team directly, we are hosting two drop in sessions at St Ethleburga’s Church, 78 Bishopsgate, EC2N 4AG on the following dates:
